Polycom Soundstation is a telecommunication company. It was founded by Brian Hinman and Jeff Rodman in December 1990. It was initially a firm involved in the research and development of enhanced video and date communication solutions. 1992 saw the company shipping its first integrated voice communication device, the SoundStation. They went on an acquisition spree and acquired companies like ViaVideo Communications and Atlas Communication Engines. The company manufactures and distributes video conferencing products.
Avaya partner ACS phone system is a new product launched by Avaya. The product is the latest in the Partner series. It is ideal for small and medium sized business offices. The product offers many flexible choices like configuration, voicemail and phones. One of the examples is the Partner CS-48 that has 48 buttons that cater to call assistants. There are 48 auto dial internal extensions. The Call Assistant requires AC outlets.
