Gift Ideas
I have been looking for new ideas for Christmas presents this year. With the recession, I am not able to spend as much money as I normally do and so I need to get a gift which will mean a lot but not cost much. I have been thinking that a photo gift might be the way to go. I know that my parents would appreciate some photo mugs with pictures of my children on as they are always saying that they would like more pictures of them. I am not so sure about my friends, some of them have pets and I was thinking that perhaps photo blankets with their pets pictures on could be a good gift for them. I have seen some lovely photo fleece blankets which look very cosy and would be just the thing for those winter evenings that are coming up soon. I think that the people that I normally just buy small gifts for, friends and neighbours and that, will just have to have a card this year. Most of them know that I am struggling at the moment and have already made it clear that I am not to buy them gifts! It can be hard though, especially as I have so many kind friends who often buy me little treats when they know that I have been working hard and have not got the money to treat myself. I think I will have to make it clear that I can repay them with baby-sitting… cleaning or other jobs which will not cost me anything but could help them out a lot.
